Join the Exciting World of Robotics!
About Our Team
In 2001, the school's wood and metal shop teacher, Bruce Klemn, discovered the exhilarating world of the FIRST Robotics Competition. Enthralled by the possibilities it offered, he embarked on a mission to establish a robotics team at Rogers High School, which is now known as Wyoming High School. Bruce's dedication led him to assemble a team comprising enthusiastic mentors and students eager to dive into the realm of building formidable robots. With the invaluable support of our initial sponsor, Delphi, our journey began.
When the time came to choose a name that would reflect our spirit and commitment, we decided to pay homage to our original sponsor, Delphi, by adopting the moniker "Delphi Demons." This name encapsulated the determination and passion that fueled our robotics endeavors.
As the years passed, the landscape of sponsorship evolved, and Delphi transitioned into GM. Unfortunately, this transition meant we had to bid farewell to Delphi as a sponsor. In response, we embraced change and rebranded ourselves as "Demons Robotics" a name that carries forward our legacy of perseverance and innovation in the world of robotics.
For over two decades, we've grown into a dynamic student-led team with an unchanging mission to promote STEM education through robotics.
We empower students to become the innovators of tomorrow by offering hands-on learning experiences that transcend traditional classrooms.
Our commitment to nurturing curiosity and inspiring learning extends beyond robots; it's about fostering a brighter, technologically advanced world.
As we mark 22 years, we invite you to join us in shaping that future through the transformative power of STEM education and robotics.
